ABOUT ME

A Bit of History

So You want to know about me well there is not much to tell. I was born on December 27 ,1979 in Redlands Community Hospital in Redlands, California. I grew up in Highland, California until I was about ten years of age. That’s when my family decided to move to East Highland to a bigger house and a better community. That’s when I meet a new group of friends (Dustin, Jason, Mike) we did everything together. So, when my friend Jason started to collect comics. I would sit in his room and read the ones he was done with. I was hooked only I didn't like all the comics he read, mainly just the comic titled "X-Men" after reading a couple issues.

The Addiction

I bought my first comic(X-Men #21) on my own, from our local Lucky's supermarket. The more I read the more I was intrigued by the character Wolverine. I told my friend Jason they should give Wolverine his own series and to my surprise he told me, Wolverine already had a comic series. From that day on I started collecting Wolverine and X-men Comics. My friend Jason started reading my comics. My friend Dustin started collecting Hulk comics and my friend Mike started collecting X-Men and Wolverine too. I wanted more so I started collecting the back issues, I just had to know what happened in the earlier issues and so with the help of my parents I was able to collect all the regular back issues. My mom loved the fact that I was reading and learning and didn't even know it. My grades improved in all my school subjects. But, for me i just loved all the characters, the stories and of course the art.

An End to My Youth

I collected for a couple of years then my friends all stopped and moved on to new things. I was the only one still interested in comics and kept collecting for a couple more years, but that all changed when my parents got a divorce, comics didn't seem that important when your whole life is turned up-side-down. I started being involved in the usual high school stuff (music, friends, cars and dating). Then in eleventh grade I meet someone special. Her name was Paloma, we had the same American History class and quickly became friends and four months later I asked her to be my girlfriend. We were inseparable, every waken moment we were either together or talking on the phone. We graduated in 1998 and later started to attend The Door Christian Fellowship in Redlands, there we learned greatly on how to keep a good relationship. We got saved. Everything was great for years and on November 12, 2000 we were married by our pastor Richard Cox. We have been happily together ever since.

Return of an Old Friend

In December of 2003, my wife brought up my comic collection that I had stored away and after talking to her, my family, and friends I started collecting again. I didn't know were to begin I went to several local comic shops, but none seemed to be any help in trying to track down the comics I was looking for. A co-worker at my job at La-Z-Boy Furniture in San Bernardino told me about Ebay. So I gave it a try and it was the best thing ever. Not only was all the comics I wanted listed, even the really hard to find ones, and they were listed for incredible low prices. In a months time I was able to catch my collection up. Then I started collecting speacial covers, variants and Signed comics. I still continue to look for hard to find Wolverine, X-Men and New X-Men comics.

The Website

I wanted to make a list of my comics that was interactive, so my Dad told me to create it using HTML. I learned the basics of HTML and made my list, it was great. My Dad told me it wouldn't take much to post my list as a website. I thought that was a bit much, but the more I thought about it, the more I began to want to create a website. I started researching by finding current websites on the web. After viewing these websites, I was disapionted, they all had problems, missing links or they had not been updated in a year. I decided that the Wolverine fans needed a place to go that had everything and was up to date. I created this site for fans like my self that need help trying to find comics, prices and information that know one seems to have. I also have a very detailed list of my collection you can see what your missing from it or if you think I'm missing something E-mail me, I answer all E-mails. You can post comics you are selling or looking for on my site just e-mail me. A picture gallery you can post your art in, so send your Drawings you might be picked for the Picture of the Month. Well, that is the bit of history of my life. if you have any Questions remember I'm just an E-mail away. Thanks for taking the time to learn a little history.
