In X-mansion Med-Lab, Beast, Professor X and James and Heather Hudson are doing a bio-scan on Sabretooth and Wolverine and finding that their a lot of similarities. Sabretooth's potentially-fatal injury that Wolverine had inflicted on him had healed with minimal scarring. Wolverine tells Sabretooth that he knows that he is just acting. Boomer come in and flirts with Sabretooth. They take Wolverine to the Danger Room for more test.

Danger room, wolverine puts on a virtual reality suit, it makes him feel uncomfortable, like when he was in the Weapon X project. Professor X turns on a simulation in the Arctic, which brings back one of Wolverine's memories of when Heather and James Hudson had first found him. Wolverine unleashes his claws and leaps towards Heather and James Hudson. Professor X stops the simulation. Wolverine tells Heather that the reason he attacked them all those years ago was because he thought that they were poachers, that had killed a bunch of wild animals. Wolverine tells them that he has to get back out in the forest. Heather tells Wolverine that that memory proves that he wasn't a total berserker when they found him, Wolverine still had the ability to reason, because he didn't kill them. Wolverine runs outside and into the forest still wearing his monitoring system.

Outside, Wolverine gets to a cliff, just below him is a street with a blind curve. Wolverine notices a guy with his girlfriend on a Harley coming from one way and sees Mr. Higgins drunk driving to fast in a car from the other way. Wolverine jumps down off the cliff to warn Mr. Higgins that the Harley is coming. Instead of stopping Mr. Higgins sees Wolverine and speeds up, Wolverine tries to get out of the way, but Mr. Higgins runs him down, crushing Wolverine underneath.

In the med-lab, Beast, Professor X, Heather and James Hudson watch on the monitors Wolverine getting crushed, bones breaking, spleen, kidney, liver and heart damage, then the monitors read that everything is healed. they can't believe that his healing factor is working at a super accelerated rate.

Outside, drunk Mr. Higgins crashes into the hillside, the car catches fire. Wolverine in a rage cuts the door off his car and pulls Mr. Higgins out, he runs off in fear. The biker pulls up remembers Wolverine from Augie's Bar, when they played a game of punch for punch. The biker rides off telling his girlfriend that Wolverine is trouble. Wolverine chugs a beer and senses somebody behind him, but doesn’t see anybody so he heads back to the X-Mansion forest. Zoe Culloden and her partner Noah observe Wolverine leaving and wonder how Wolverine sensed them, when they are cloaked with alien technology.
