In the Austrakian Outback, Logan hunts down a wild boar. Logan thinks back in his past, Lord Shingen, head of clan Yashida, father of Mariko, beat up Logan to prove he was just in animal in a mans body and that Logan was no good for Mariko. Logan thinks that maybe he is just a beast. Storm comes and tells Logan that the beast in him has saved the X-Men many times, but that is just one side of him. Gateway makes a portal for Patch to go back to Madripoor.

In Lowtown Madripoor,at the Princess Bar, Patch and Roughouse are having a bar fight. General Coy, Bloodscream, Tyger Tiger, Archie, O'Donnell are betting on the fight. Patch wins and has a drink with Tiger Tyger. Outside, where Roughouse layed unconscious, General Coy sells Roughouse to a man with a robot hand.

at the Royal Palace, Police Chief Tai and Prince Baran were having dinner, talking about a shipment of cocaine that patch stoped from being delivered to General Coy. The man with the robot arm enters the room, he opens a bag of money and offers it to the prince for his shipment of cocaine that didn't get to Coy and promises to not return to Madripoor.

Next morning, Lowtown Madripoor, Tyger's Bedroom, Patch enjoys the early morning air on Tyger's balcony, while Tyger sleeps on the bed, most of Madripoor is asleep, a truck passes by on the streets below, Patch's heightened senses smell cocaine in a truck, same cocaine he smelled before. Patch follows the truck by rooftop. Patch sees the robot man load the drugs and roughouse into a boat and drive the boat off. Roughouse is restained to a table. The robot man calls himself, Geist. Geist is going to use Roughouse as an unwilling participant to test out his highly unusual batch of cocaine. Wolverine sneaks a board to the sounds of Roughouse screaming.
