| Marvel Variant Cover by Ariel Olivetti Savior: Part 3, Wolverine starts off climbing the building remembering about his relationship with Jubilee, and how she cared for him. Wolverine remembers when Jubilee lost her powers during HoM. (This scene is not cannon, just Wolverine’s interpretation of him not showing up for her). He relates to him not being there for Jubilee just as he never was there for his own long lost son, meanwhile his son looks at Wolverine from afar. As Wolverine makes his way up his building, Omega Red’s henchmen shoot at him, Wolverine tries to evade and breaks into a nearby window. Wolverine sneaks up on the henchmen from the bottom and easily dispatches Omega Red’s guards. He sees his enemy’s helicopter take off and finds Christopher Nord aka Maverick lying on the floor beaten. Maverick tells Logan that Omega Red took Jubilee. Maverick tells Logan what happened when Omega Red and Wolverine took their fight outside (last ish). Omega Red dispatches Maverick easily as Maverick takes out his henchmen. Omega Red had interrogated Maverick for the whereabouts of the C-Synthesizer. Maverick reluctantly tells him what he knows. Maverick tells Wolverine whom he gave the C-Synthesizer too. Maverick tells Wolverine that if he goes after Omega Red that he’ll kill Jubilee, Logan tells Maverick that he’ll go anyways since Jubilee is as good as dead. (Newark NJ)—Dum Dum Dugan and S.H.I.E.L.D agents hold hostage a boat driver who was paid money to not sail to Europe. The agents want to know who paid the man; Dum Dum shows the man a picture of Wolverine. The man looks shaken up and the agents safely assume that Wolverine indeed pay the man. The agents see that the contents of the man’s boat was heading to London and then Berlin (Berlin)—Wolverine is in a crowded Berlin looking for a local contact to give him information on Red’s whereabouts; he finds his contact and the two head to a stocked away alley. The man releases some information to Wolverine and then Wolverine proceeds to beat him up, to show that the man didn’t give nothing up willingly. (Berlin, 40 years ago)—Wolverine remembers his last mission with Team X (X-Men 4-7, 1991) with his memories intact for the very first time. He remembers the mission given to him and Creed, to extract the C-Synthesizer and make haste; meanwhile Creed also had a mission, to bring in Omega Red for recruitment. Maverick who was a freelance operator of the CIA has no affiliation with ‘They’ and was ordered to extract the CIA mole. Wolverine remembers the first time he heard Creed use the methods of ‘Birthdays’ as a tool for training and control. The three enter the enemy base while each goes their separate ways for their mission; Wolverine grabs the synthesizer while Maverick grabs the mole. Wolverine tells Maverick that he wants him to take the C-Synthesizer for safe keeping until it is requested, Wolverine knows what it did to his body and wants to use it in the future against Sabretooth. While the two talk, Sabretooth’s battle with Omega Red doesn’t go as planned and the three try to escape to a dead end. Sensing betrayal among Logan and Maverick, Sabretooth murders the CIA mole. Wolverine realizes that her death was his fault and that women have always been his weak spot. (Berlin, Present)—Wolverine enters another dark alley and breaks in easily, he latches onto a familiar scent as longtime friend Natalia Romanova aka the Black Widow jumps down to meet with Wolverine. Wolverine Battles:Wolverine VS 2 Gaurds = Wolverine Wins Wolverine VS Informant = Wolverine wins |
