Savior: Part 5,

After the events of last issue, Wolverine is surrounded by S.H.I.E.L.D agents with the fake C-Synthesizer in hand. The agents begin scanning the device ensuring its not an explosive device. The agent tells Dugan that it’ll take nine seconds to get the exact nature of the device, Wolverine tells Dugan that he doesn’t have nine seconds. He tells them it’s not a bomb, and when asked what exactly it is, Wolverine tells them to ask him…ask Omega Red.

Wolverine hands over the replica device and instructs Dugan that in order to call off Red to give him the device, and then Wolverine escapes. Omega Red makes quick work of the SHIELD agents while Dugan lures Omega Red with the replica device. He throws it over the building ledge and Omega Red jumps for it, SHIELD agents shoot off a gel unit to capture Omega Red. Omega Red captured by SHIELD, curses Wolverine for besting him again.

Dugan watches Wolverine run off and gathers up the remaining SHIELD agents for pursuit. Meanwhile Wolverine frantically is in search of Jubilee who is impaled by a broken ledge. He finds Jubilee impaled who asks Wolverine to help. Wolverine senses SHIELD behind him and asks that in exchange for his surrender that they help Jubilee. Dum Dum Dugan calls in the medevac, and then shoots Wolverine in the back of his head multiple times to finally put down Wolverine.

Wolverine regains consciousness hours later in SHIELD custody. Dugan relieves his men of duty anticipating being removed from duty for acting without orders. The agents leave the room with one last agent remaining, he tries to scurry with the rest of them until Dugan recognizes something familiar, he grabs the agent’s shoulder and the agent stabs him in the chest with his two claws. Dugan falls over spilling blood meeting his apparent doom. The ‘agent’ reveals himself to Logan. Wolverine sheds a tear over what his ‘son’ has become, enraged over his ‘father’s’ weakness slashes Wolverine across the midsection. He tells Wolverine that he’s weak and walks off. Wolverine’s restraints are unlocked and he falls to the floor knocked out.
