SHIELD aircraft carrier, South Atlantic Ocean, Wolverine tears the SHEILD agents apart before they could move. Elektra tells the commander that they should have never pulled their weapons on Wolverine. Elektra pulls out her sais and stabs Wolverine in his deltoids, which paralyzed his body. Elektra tells Wolverine that as long as she has her sais in him he can’t move, she tells him that he has been brainwashed and his thought aren’t his own. Wolverine starts to laugh, so Elektra asks what’s so funny, suddenly an explosion in the munitions room blows a whole in the side of the carrier. The blast knocks Elektra off Wolverine, Wolverine turns and slashes at Elektra, Elektra tries to block, but Wolverine cuts right through her sais. Wolverine lunges at Elektra, Elektra dodges and stabs Wolverine in his neck, suddenly the corridor burst full of water, which knocks Elektra down the hall. Wolverine leaves and locks the door to the corridor, Elektra tries to open the door but can’t and the water is filling the room, she grabs a radiation containment suit to escape through the water. Wolverine swims out the hole in the ship and finds sharks preying on all the dead and surviving crew members. The voice in Wolverine tells him to kill the sharks and so Logan guts one of them.

Fifty minutes later, SHIELD helicopters pick up the surviving SHIELD agents, Elektra gets picked up and tells an agent to check if the SHEILD computers have been hacked into. They tell her that the Shield mainframe had been hacked and defense, Pentagon and White House files had been downloaded.

SHIELD heli-carrier, Manhattan, NY 24 hours later, Nick Fury tells his crew that Wolverine’s brain pattern was pick up and then was shielded, so they know Wolverine survived the sinking of the SHIELD carrier. Elektra tells the crew that the Hand killed Wolverine and brought him back from death to become an assassin in their death-cult. Nick Fury is told over the head comm. that the President of the United States is coming aboard for security reasons.

Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, Kitty Pryde goes and tells the kids that the reason they are all put in the same room is to protect them. They ask if she thinks Wolverine is going to come there, Kitty tells them that its not likely. Kitty phases back to her room with Storm and prays for Wolverine.

The Baxter building, Manhattan, Two civilians leave the building wondering what is going on and they begin to talk about who weird the Fantastic Four is and as they leave they see the invisible women listening to them, she enters the building and the Thing turns on a force field that wont allow anybody to enter the building, but they don’t know that Wolverine is already inside watching them from the air ducts.
