Nagasaki, Japan in October, a man named Ichiro was a chauffeur for a rich man and one day he took the rich man’s son and his own son to their baseball game. The two kids looked so alike that when some men came to kidnap the rich man’s son, they took Ichiro’s son by mistake. The men wanted ten million dollars in ransom because they thought they had the rich man’s kid, the rich man refused to pay. Ichiro went to the police but they couldn’t do anything. Days turned into weeks and finally Ichiro called on an old friend.

Christian cemetery, Logan negotiated with the kidnappers to meet him so they could receive their ransom. When they arrived Logan handed them two large duffel bags , but when they opened the bags they were filled cloths. The men try to pull their guns but it was too late, Logan stabbed them both in the chest with his claws. Suddenly ninjas arise out of nowhere and attack, Logan lets loose and tears them apart. The master of the ninjas watches from afar as Logan tears his men limb from limb. Logan finds one of the men alive, pushes him up against a grave stone and demands to know where the kid is. The man dies in his arms and Logan realizes that he had just been stabbed from the back with a sword that went through his gut and into the mans. Logan turns to see his attacker, thinking that nobody could be that fast. A tall man in an orange suit stands with a sword and tells Logan that the Gorgon is that fast and the Gorgon is that silent. Logan hold his side and wills himself to heal. The Gorgon tells Logan that they fed the boy to their pigs and knocks Logan out with the handle of his sword.

One week Later, Kitty Pryde visits Ichiro and his wife and tries to find out what happen to Logan, since he has been missing for a week. Kitty assures them that the X-Men will find their son and Logan. Ichiro’s wife tells Kitty that their son is dead, because a mother always knows.

Minneapolis, One month later, SHIELD investigates the murder of thirteen Catholics in one of their churches. elektra tells Nick Fury that the place stinks of the Hand. Nick Fury tells elektra that they uncovered a plot to kidnap sixteen key super heroes and Logan topped the list. The assassin in charge calls himself the Gorgon and has the mutant power to kill anyone he makes eye contact with. The Gorgon leads a splinter group called The Dawn of the White Light and has pacts with Hydra and the Hand grand masters. elektra tells Nick Fury that getting Logan to Japan was all a trap. Nick Fury gets informed that they just found Logan in South America.

South Atlantic Ocean, 12 hours later aboard a SHIELD aircraft carrier. elektra makes her way to the medical center in the carrier and her SHIELD escorts tell her that when they found Logan he was burned over ninety percent of his body, with one eye left, the SHIELD agents said he looked like hamburger meat.

Medical Center, Logan wakes and hears a voice in his head telling him to kill the nurse that was watching him. The nurse tells Logan that she worked with him back during the Scorpio mission and she tells him that the number he gave her was fake, but she can laugh about it now. The voice demands Logan to kill her and Logan leaps from his bed and stabs her in the chest.

Corridors of the carrier, elektra hears the alarms o off and prepares for a fight. The SHIELD agents tell her that Logan has gone mad and is killing agents and she should hid till it is over. Elektra pulls out her sais and tells them its too late, Wolverine is already there, she looks up and sees Wolverine looking back down at her.
