370 KM NNE, Vancouver, B.C., Some grizzly bears hunt for food in a stream, then some of them leave. One of the bears stays and catches a fish out of the stream, but notices a creature approach from the woods. The bear stands and roars to scare the creature away, but gets cared himself and leaves the fish for the creature.

In the hills over looking the stream, Sabretooth watches the creature as it leaves. Sabretooth tells his assistant hunters, Bowen and Peary to follow him. Sabretooth catches up to the creature they call the Native and orders his men to shot it with tranquilizers. The Native gets hit in the back with two tranquilizers and falls to the ground. Bowen and Peary run over to put restraints on the Native, but it wakes up and kills them both. Sabretooth attacks, but the Native slashes Sabretooth’s face, back, then face again, Sabretooth falls to the ground unconscious.

Portland, Oregon, Logan wakes up in the middle of the night in Cassie Lathrop’s bed. Logan takes his Harley for a midnight ride, when suddenly a deer comes out into the road, Logan swerves to avoid it but crashes his bike into the forest. Logan walks to the nearest service station, 35 miles away.

Seattle, Washington, Sabretooth tells his employers Mr. Willoughby and Mr. Murray that he found the Native and it killed Bowen and Peary. They pay Sabretooth and tell him that he is still the best man to capture the Native, Sabretooth tells them that he could find someone better.

Montana, Jenkins Dinner, Logan sits and enjoys a slice of apple pie and over hears a man named Don talk about a past experience of seeing what he thought was Bigfoot. Sabretooth walks in and sits down at Logan’s table and tells Logan that he wants him to track the Native, who was another Weapon X escapee.
