Portland, Oregon, Cassie Lathrop gets into bed and gives Logan a good night kiss as he drifts to sleep. Logan dreams.

Logan tears a black bag from his face and finds he is naked in the forest with dead Weapon X guards everywhere. A little red bird tells Logan nice work, Logan chases the bird and finds himself fishing in a lake with Nightcrawler, but the fish look like people and get scared and swim away. Logan notices a storm coming, Nightcrawler tells Logan that they should get off the river. The little red bird grabs Logan’s hat, so he chases it until he is standing in front of a cabin. Logan enters and finds Yukio cooking and a strange man at the table, Yukio ask Logan to get dressed, the man says in a black tie. Logan goes to the closet where he finds all his different uniforms through the years and grabs his suit and black tie and sees himself in different states of mind behind it. Logan returns to the table, Yukio serves chili and gives Logan a kiss. The man begins to grow huge at the room. Logan finds himself naked in the wilderness again, cowering over a dead deer, a black cat approaches and gives Logan a lick on the face. Logan finds himself in bed and the little red bird ask if he is thirsty. Logan sits at a bar in his brown and tan uniform with Rogue serving the drinks. Rogue tells Logan that her man beats her, so Logan hits him and his face shatters. Logan follows the red bird to the Box bar and tries to get a drink, but the bartender is occupied with the little red bird. The window gets bright and Logan looks away and finds himself in a cabin with Mariko and a strange man. Mariko ask if Logan wants to go to bed, but his evil self breaks through a wall and takes her. Logan cries out Mariko’s name, the evil Logan says Heather, Logan says Yukio, then the evil Logan says Rose, Logan stares at his evil self, who tells Logan gotcha and stabs Logan in the chest with his claws, but Logan can’t fill it. Logan walks off, but the evil Logan tells Logan that he forgot one. Logan follows the little red bird and finds Jean naked in the snow covered forest. Jean ask for Logan to keep her warm. Logan goes to her and hugs her as she talks about jets, then she talks about the phoenix . Some men come out and drag Logan away and put a black bag over his head. Logan finds himself locked up and served water in a dish like he is some kind of animal.

Logan wakes and finds Cassie in the kitchen making coffee, he sits at the table with the newspaper and she serves him coffee. Cassie asks if he had any dreams, Logan replies that he didn’t.
