Heather Hudson's house, Lady Deathstrike bursts in through the window. Heather and Puck get knocked back as Lady Deathstrike grabs Logan. They crash through a wall and into the kitchen, Puck tries to attack ,but Deathstrike punches him away. Wolverine grabs Deathstrike by the head and slams her into a fringe, then crashes her head through the window of the oven. Lady Deathstrike hits Logan across his face. In the fight a gas line gets busted and gas fills the room. Lady Deathstrike extends her claws and her cyber-circuits spark, which causes a small explosion. Lady Deathstrike and Logan fall down some stairs into the basement. Lady Deathstrike tells Logan that she wants her birthright, Logan's adamantium. Logan unleashes his claws, to show Deathstrike that he didn't have it anymore and that his healing factor wasn't working. Lady Deathstrike tells Logan that she has been cheated out of her revenge and leaves with Ronald Parvenue in his limo.

Down the street in the limo, Ronald Parvenue ask why Lady Deathstrike didn't finish Logan off when she had the opportunity, but she explains to him that there wasn't any honor in killing him now. Cylla and Bloodscream shows up and demands to know where Logan is. Deathstrike tells them that she no longer seeks his life and she will not stand in their way. Cylla and Bloodscream begins to hunt down Logan for their own reasons.

Out front of Heather Hudson’s house, Logan tells Heather that he has to go, but Heather insist that he stay until he heals up. Logan explains that he doesn’t heal fast and that his enemies are on his tail. Logan gives Heather every dollar he has to pay for the damage to her house and rides off on his bike.

Many miles away, Logan stops at a diner on his way to Buffalo Wood. Just as Logan leaves on his motorcycle, Cylla and Bloodscream arrive at the diner, they are both low on energy but they continue to follow Logan’s trail.
