The Past, Inside the Sentinel Ant Hill, Wolverine and Jubilee are surrounded by Sentinels, Wolverine leaps and stabs his claws into Sentinel 23's chest, the slashes 23 in half. Wolverine and Jubilee run in no set pattern, so the Sentinels couldn't get a lock target on them. Sentinel 3.14159 rips the good head off 23 and uses it to replace his. Sentinels 66 and 86 chase Wolverine and Jubilee down the hall.

In the Hall, Wolverine and Jubilee seemed trapped. Wolverine comes up with a counterattack plan. As 66 and 86 approach, Wolverine jumps out slashes the top of 66's head off, then Jubilee plasma blast 86's head, which blinds it. Wolverine jumps on its back and cuts 86's head off. Sentinel 66 attempts to protect it, feeling human emotion overloads its own circuits and crashes to the ground. Sentinel 86 ask not to turn it off, because it feared the darkness. Jubilee decides not to destroy it. Sentinel 3.14159 sees that Jubilee had compassion and decides to stop the solar flare from happening because it found a new primary mission: to analyze the processes and functions that seemed so unique to human beings, and decides to use the Ant Hill's computer system to do it. The Sentinel explains that it will take 2137.23 years to compile the program and calculate, the sentinels will reawaken when they can understand, if not experience human emotion. Sentinel 3.14159 ask if they would like to go back into the future to Gateway's Knoll, but Jubilee tells it to send them to Los Angeles.

The present, Los Angeles, Logan takes Jubilee to Sally and Jocko's office and demands to know where Reno and Molokai were. Sally and Jacko remember Logan in the past, gives Logan whatever he wants. Later, in Burbank, Molokai and Reno were beating up on a man, Logan and Jubilee sideswipe Molokai's car with Sally and Jacko's barrowed red Mercedes. Molokai and Reno chase after them all the way up Mullholland Drive. There Logan and Jubilee get out of the Mercedes. Molokai and Reno recognizes Logan and they pull out their guns, Jubilee blasts the guns away and then blast their faces, she kicks Molokai in the gut and punches Reno in the face. Logan tells Jubilee that she has the right to kill them, but she shouldn't because she's not a killer. Jubilee kicks them both, as hard as she can, in the nuts. As Logan and Jubilee walk away. Jubilee ask if Logan thinks she is weak for not killing them. Logan tells her that she has a heart to save the world, in fact, she did.
