Ancient temple, down in the fire pit, Wolverine slashes and kills the dinosaurs that fall down the pit. The dinosaurs start to stack up and Wolverine begins to climb his way out of the fire pit. Sauron sees Wolverine coming and tells the dinosaurs to stop coming, but there is no stopping the stampede.

Ancient temple, throne room, Rogue enters and sees the natives, they throw spears at Rogue, so Rogue flies up into the rafters of the room. Sauron sees Rogue and hits across her face. Rogue crashes into the fall and falls to the floor, Sauron flies over, Rogue punches Sauron in the gut, which cause him to smash through a rafter

Ancient temple, down in the fire pit, Wolverine is attack by four Tyrannosaurs Rex’s, but Wolverine slashes and slashes until they all die, Wolverine climbs their bodies to the top.

Ancient temple, throne room, The natives see Wolverine covered in dinosaur blood pull himself out of the fire pit. Wolverine takes a look at the crowd of natives and ask who’s next? The natives run away in fear. Rogue and Sauron fly at each other and collide, they both fall to the ground, when the dust clears Sauron is standing over Rogue about to claw her, when Wolverine grabs Sauron and threatens to throw him down in the pit towards the hungry dinosaurs. Rogue gets up and convinces Logan to not throw him to the hungry dinosaurs, and instead, Rogue has an idea to complete their mission and help Sauron. Wolverine releases Sauron, then punches him in the face, knocking him out.

In the Citadel, Rogue wants to use Brainchild's machine to revert Sauron back to Dr. Karl Lykos. Sauron tells them that by doing that it would be the same as killing him, because Lykos exists as a separate entity. Sauron tells them that if he doesn’t rule the Savage Land, someone will. Wolverine lets Sauron go and tells Rogue that Professor X told him not to make waves while in the Savage Land. Storm and Bishop arrive in the blackbird to pick up Wolverine and Rogue. They load the Genetic Transformer into the blackbird and also a fist statue sculpted out of metal as evidence that Magneto had been there. They already picked up Jubilee from the native party that she was at. Bishop explains that the natives were trying to marry jubilee to a woman, since they thought she was a man. Jubilee tells them all not to laugh, but they couldn't resist.
