On a airliner, Wolverine has a nightmare, where he fights his own mind to find out the truth of his past. Wolverine slashes his way to Sabretooth, SilverFox and Carlisle who want to kill him, but then another Sabretooth, Silver fox and Wraith help Wolverine and call him his pal. The bad group kills the good and Silver Fox grabs Wolverine and ask if he knows who his friends are, then tells him to wake up. Logan wakes up, Jubilee is shaking him and telling him to wake up. Jubilee tells Logan that he has been asleep for 10 hours and their flight has been diverted to the SHIELD Heli-carrier.

On the Heli-carrier, Nick Fury informs Logan that someone with a lot of connections wants to meet him on Terra Firma. SHIELD flies Wolverine and Jubilee and drops them off in Terra Firma. John Wraith appears with his gun pointed at Jubilee, because Logan was supposed to come alone. Wolverine has a flashback.

In the flashback, South-East Asia, Wolverine scouted ahead in the Jungle, by the time he got back to Sabretooth and Wraith, they had a girl with them. Sabretooth says the girl saw everything and that their mission is compromised, unless the kill her. Wraith tells Sabretooth and Wolverine to go ahead and he will kill the girl quietly. Sabretooth shots the girl with his rifle, Wolverine grabs Sabretooth, Sabretooth explains that Wraith was going to let her go, because he didn't have the guts to kill her.

Present, Wolverine tells Wraith that he won't shot Jubilee just like he couldn't kill the girl all that time ago in South-East Asia. Wraith puts his gun away and is surprised that Wolverine remembers. Wraith tosses the head of one of the Shiva robot at Wolverine. Wolverine catches it triggering an electronic pulse which causes Logan to have another memory flashback.

In the flashback, jungles of Cuba, Sabretooth, Wraith, and Mastodon are on another mission, they are destroying the nukes in Cuba. Silver Fox betrays the team and attacks them with tentacles, grabbing all the team.

Present, jubilee pulls the Shiva head out of Wolverine's hands. Wolverine jumps at Wraith with claws exposed, Wraith disappears and re-appears across the street. Logan and Jubilee realize that they are in Los Angeles, Wraith takes them to his house. Two teenage burglars, trying to get Wraith's TV, armed with machine guns shot at them, Wraith appears behind the kids and threatens to kill them. Wolverine slashes the guns to pieces, the kids run off, Wraith tells them to take the TV. Wraith shows Logan Mastodon, who had aged considerably since the last time they had met. Wraith tells Wolverine that Mastodon's healing factor wore off and doesn’t know why. so Wraith is trying to find the rest of the members of the Weapon X project. Wraith tells Wolverine that he found Silver Fox, Wolverine freaks out and says but he has the memory of Sabretooth killing her. Wraith tells Wolverine that so does Sabretooth, but its all a false memory implant. Wraith shows Wolverine that Sabretooth is chained up down stairs.
