Inside the Cloud 9 motel room, Spiral babbles about how the room is an intersection of five different strings in the time stream. Wolverine and Mystique think Spirals gone crazy. Suddenly, from a picture that Spiral had cut with her sword, a Plasma Wraith rips through from another dimension. Spiral and Wolverine cut its arms off and it gets sucked back into the painting.

In the sky abouve the Cloud 9 motel, Albert, Elsie Dee and Hunter in Darkness stop the stealth bomber. Elsie Dee tells Albert that some of the circuits that Spiral installed in her went crazy, but stopped. Elsie Dee tells Albert it must have been nothing, then tells Albert to fly the bomber to Canada. Jubilee heading to the Cloud 9 motel hears the stealth bomber fly by but couldn't see it.

In the motel room, Spiral shows pictures of alternate Spirals from alternate universes, and starts babbling about how they were all plummeting towards the temporal convergence, which was basically the end of time, the Crunch. Suddenly, a beam of energy fires from the television, shots through the wall, just missing Jubilee outside. Spiral tells them that someone is trying to track them and teleports herself, Wolverine, and Mystique to a place "where time folds in on itself". Jubilee, outside, sees the time vortex form in the room, then it suck Logan's motorcycle into it. The tornado disappears, Jubilee looks in the room, everything in the room is gone. Jubilee enters the room and Mojo burst out of the closet. Jubilee tries to escape be blinding Mojo with Plasma blast. Mojo tells his slave Abicissa, to get Jubilee. Abicissa throws a chain around Jubilee's neck and they all teleport to the end of time.

Wolverine, Mystique, and Spiral are hurled into the end of the future. They encounter another plasma wraith, who threatens to kill them for intruding at the end of time. Wolverine slices at it and gets his hand burnt. Mystique morphs into Mojo, which distracts the Plasma Wraith giving Wolverine and Spiral the opportunity to destroy the Wraith. Wolverine asks Mystique how she knew that Mojo was behind the scam and would distract the Plasma Wraith. Mystique tells Wolverine the Plasma Wraith was talking like movie-talk, and the only being travels through time and space and wants to make movies is Mojo. Spiral warns them that Mojo has unleashed a jumble of circumstances that was threatening all existence, and it was up to them to enter the Citadel at the end of time to stop it.

In Canada, Albert, Elsie Dee, and the Hunter in Darkness land at the old Weapon X Facility. The hunter in Darkness runs onto an ancient Blackfoot Burial Ground next to the facility. Hunter in Darkness starts to dig, Albert helps him, they find an adamantium skeleton with claws.
