Patch determined to find The Yakuza demands Tyger to tell him what’s going on and where the Yakuza are. Tyger tells Patch he must heal before he fights them again. In the central highlands of Madripoor, Dr. Malheur, Dai-Kumo, and General Coy observing the spider-monkey harvesting operation. They shot gas rockets that knock the monkeys out, so they can extract their brain juice. A native ask them why they are stealing all the monkeys, Dr. Malheur replys that by eating the monkey's brain, it makes them see God. The native tells them if they take them all now there wont be any later. Goro and Reiko call Dai-Kumo and tell him that Patch is alive. Dai-Kumo tells Goro that it is his responsibility to kill Patch and to bring proof. Tyger tells her four best men to guard the entrance to her penthouse. Tyger and Archie leave to find out where the Yakuza are. Goro and Reiko heads up to the penthouse. Tyger's four guards stop Goro, but Goro kills them all. Patch hears the noise and goes to the door, Goro stabs through the door and hits Patch in the chest. Patch rips through the door and collapses to the floor. Goro tells Reiko that no man could survive a sword through the chest and takes a picture as evidence that Patch is dead. Patch has an out-of-body experience. Patch goes toward the light and sees who he thinks is Jean Grey, who points to his chest and motioning him to pull the shining thing out of his chest. Patch pulls it out, and suddenly, he wakes up in a pool of crusty blood pulling the sword out of his chest. Tyger and Archie return. Tyger tells him that they located the Yakuza at an abandoned warehouse in low town by the docks. Patch tells them he is getting some payback, even if he has to drag himself down there. At the Warehouse, Dr. Malheur, takes the brain fluid from the monkeys, and one milligram of the fluid, when combined with pure cane sugar, vinegar, and peanut shell fiber, would create a drug known as Zap, and further refinement of Zap would yield the drug known as Thunderbolt. The drug gives superhuman strength, endurance, and total pain-suppression that last an hour and end in death. Goro and Reiko return and show Dai-Kumo the picture of Patch dead. They all board a plane to return back to Osaka, Japan. Patch and Tiger arrive at the Warehouse. Inside, they discover the native looking at all the dead monkeys. Logan asks the native where the Yakuza went. The native tells Patch they left for Japan. Wolverine Battle:Patch vs. Goro = Goro Wins |
