The Lazarus Project: The Road Back,

On the island of Rumika, Wolverine stacks the bodies of the dead and burns them in a bonfire. Wolverine, Target and Karma want to know the purpose of the MasterForm and why it is so important. Wolverine tells Target and Karma how he got involved with the MasterForm. Karma then tells Wolverine and Target why she came. Target then tells Wolverine and Karma his story. When Target was a kid living in the suburbs, his name was Ted. Captain Merrick left the MasterForm with Ted's dad. Merrick entrusted his father to keep the MasterForm safe. But one night, Soldiers attacked the town with a tank, the soldiers were after the MasterForm. Ted and his cousin Ricky ran out of the house with the MasterForm. Ted's parents stayed behind and got blown up by the tank. Ted and his cousin Ricky had managed to hide the MasterForm, and had kept it safe. Ted and Ricky later enlisted in an army to sought revenge on those who killed his parents. Wolverine tells Target and Karma thinks he knows what the MasterForm is all about. Just then, Wolverine hears 3 of Merrick's soldiers coming to search for Merrick. Wolverine, Karma, and Target hide, Karma distracts the soldiers while Wolverine kills two of them, Target shots the last one. Wolverine leaves the MasterForm in Rumika, for the people who dead protecting it. Wolverine tells Karma and Target their answers to the MasterForm lie in Madripoor.
