St. Ann’s church in the Bronx, Nightcrawler prays to God, when suddenly Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike attack him. Nightcrawler uses his teleporting ability and acrobatic moves to avoid being hit, they chase him down the street, near the East River. Omega Red releases his death spores, which cause Nightcrawler to collapse to his feet, Lady Deathstrike punches him over the rail and he falls into the East River. Lady Deathstrike tells Omega Red that Nightcrawler is down now on to the next one.

Alpha Flight base in the Canadian Arctic, Shaman uses his magic to show Logan who wants to cause him harm, but a bunch of faces appear in the flame. Shaman tells Logan that there is know way of knowing which one Mauvais was talking about, when he said doom was coming in Logan’s life. A video transmission comes through on a monitor, it was James Hudson, who was telling them that he is on his way to the base with Heather Hudson. Heather tells Logan that she is pregnant. Logan gets happy for them, but suddenly heather tells Logan that their engines are going out and they are going to have to make a crash landing. The video transmission ends in static.

In the skies over the Canadian arctic, Heather and James Hudson try and land the plan, but under the plane Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red rip the engines apart. The plane crashes into the side of a mountain.

Tokyo, Japan, Yukio charges down the street to go get Amiko, who is still trying to hang out in the bad area of town. Yukio finds Amiko and threatens to tell Logan that she is disobeying her, Amiko tells Yukio that Logan doesn’t care. Yukio tells her that Logan loves her very much and that his life is very difficult. Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike show up and attack Yukio. Yukio slashes Lady Deathstrike with on of her throwing darts, while Omega Red captures Amiko. Yukio goes to help Amiko, but Lady Deathstrike stabs Yukio in the back with her claws.

X-Mansion, Cyclops calls Logan and tells him that they are high alert, because Nightcrawler was attacked and is on life support. Logan tells Cyclops that Heather and James Hudson just crashed their plan in to a mountain and to have people check on Jubilee, Shadowcat and Carol Danvers.

Weapon X compound, The Director show the facility off to a new member of the team, Dr. Windsor. They meet up with Brent Jackson and show the doctor their MPC gun, which can amplify a mutant power and project it anywhere in the world. They stick a mutant named, Leech that has the power to drain a mutant of their powers. Suddenly the gun fires off and is redirected around the Earth and hits the Alpha Flight base. The Director demands to know who shot that burst, agent Jackson looks in the computer and tells the Director that it was his code that was used.

Alpha Flight Base, Logan meets up with Shaman, Shaman ask if Logan is all right since he was acting sluggish. Logan tells Shaman that all of a sudden he feel weak, Shaman insists that it must be the stress of all that is occurring. Logan slams his hand into the wall and says that it isn’t stress. Shaman notices that Logan was bleeding, Logan tells him of course he bleeding, but it will stop in a second, but to Logan’s surprise it doesn’t stop. Logan realizes that his mutant powers are gone.

Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Sabretooth sits at a desk looking at all the pictures of Logan’s friend that Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike have attacked. Sabretooth lift up a zip disk and laughs.

Medical Hospital in Alberta Canada, Sasquatch, Puck and Snowbird wait while they prepare to transfer Aurora to an institution because she has been having mental problems. Sasquatch goes with her, but them gets a call that the Hudson’s went down in their plane and that they nee him to find them. Sasquatch leaps out of the back of the ambulance and runs into the forest. The ambulance driver continues down the road until a group of Elite soldiers attack and kills him and steals Aurora.
