Canadian Arctic, Mauvais who has turned into a Wendigo stands over Logan, who is badly beaten. Alpha Flight: Sasquatch, Aurora, Shaman, Puck, Snowbird and James Hudson show up and begin to attack Mauvais. Mauvais throws Logan at Alpha Flight, but Puck catches him. Sasquatch grabs Mauvais, Snowbird changed into a snow tiger and bites Mauvais’s leg. Mauvais throws Snowbird off and chokes Sasquatch. Aurora goes to help Sasquatch, but Mauvais uses his magic to make Aurora fearful, she falls to the ground in fear. Shaman notices that Mauvais’s whirl wind is blocking the spirits of Canada from helping fight Mauvais, so Shaman uses his own magic to wrap an vine around the whirl wind and squeezes it. Mauvais feels his whirlwind get weaker, so he blasts the vine off and increases the strength of the whirlwind. Snowbird changes herself into a Wendigo and attacks Mauvais, but gets weak because the whirlwind is blocking her source of power, which comes from the spirits of Canada. Mauvais uses his magical power to raise the dead of the other Wendigo and other ancient dead creatures. Alpha Flight works as a team to attack the dead creatures. Logan goes and attacks Mauvais to keep him busy, while Shaman uses all his magical power to attack the whirlwind. Snowbird comes over and uses the last of her strength to weaken the whirlwind. James Hudson blasts the whirlwind with his suit powers. Mauvais sees that they are doing and goes to attack, but Logan stabs his claws into Mauvais’s tail. Mauvais grabs Logan, so Logan stabs his claws into Mauvais’s arm. Puck convinces Aurora to help attack the whirlwind. Puck keeps Mauvais busy and Logan tells Sasquatch to throw him at the whirlwind. Sasquatch knows exactly what he’s talking about and tells him one fast ball special coming up and hurls Logan with all his might at the whirl wind. Logan unleashes his claws and slams right into the whirlwind, which explodes on contact. Mauvais shots all of them with the last of his power. The spirits of Canada appear in the sky, Mauvais shots at one of them, but the spirit just catches the blast and shots it back. The blast hits Mauvias knocking him to the ground. The spirits open a portal to a demonic realm, but Mauvias hold on from getting sucked in. Mauvais bits his own arm to try and gain some magical strength, so Logan goes and stabs him in his shoulder, but Mauvais grabs Logan to pull him in with him. Mauvais lets go of Logan and tells him that bad things are about to happen to him.
