Somewhere down south, Logan, who has shaved his head to hide his identity, grabs some supplies from a Mini-Mart and return back to his room where Beast waits for him. Beast uses his image inducer to look like Harrison Ford, Logan tells him to stop fooling around. Logan doesn’t know if Apocalypse brainwashing has anything to do with his involvement in the murders.

SHIELD secret base, Nick fury storms into Director Carter’s office and demands to know why he isn’t in charge of the Wolverine’s manhunt. Director Carter tells fury that the top brass at SHIELD thought it would be a conflict of interest, since Fury knows Wolverine. Director Carter introduces Nick Fury to Brent Jackson, who is charge of Wolverine’s manhunt. Nick and Brent begin to argue Carter has to brake them up. Nick Fury decides to hire a bounty hunter called the Shiver Man, to find Logan before Brent does, that why they can clear Logan of the murder.

Shiver Man enters a dinner and asks if anyone has seen Logan and shows them picture of Logan, but some men pick a fight with Shiver Man because he is a mutant. Shiver Man severs a man’s hand off and pulls out his guns and asks again if they have seen Logan. A man tells Shiver Man that they saw a guy that looks similar, but with a shaved head two towns away.

Somewhere down south, Logan calls his buddy, Maverick, who is trying to find out what Senator Walsh was involved in for him to be murdered. Maverick finds that a period of Senator Walsh’s life has been classified. Logan tells Maverick to keep trying to gain access to those files and hangs up. The pay phone begins to ring, Logan picks it up and a voice tells Logan to look into his own past to find the answers. Beast asks who was that, Logan says he has no idea. Suddenly a bullet shots the pay phone, the Shiver Man tries to capture Logan, but Logan tries to slash him, but his claws phase through him. Shiver man reaches into Logan’s chest, so Beast jumps on Shiver Man’ back, but Shiver Man throws him off. Logan leaps at Shiver man, but Shiver Man turns and shoots Logan with fire bullets. Logan tells Beast that they have to work as a team and they come up with a plan. Beast jumps at Shiver Man, who grabs Beast out of the air by his neck, Logan leaps and slashes Shiver Man’s arm off, which was solid only because he was holding Beast. Shiver man grabs his arm and disappears. Logan and Beast return to their room to find it searched, the motel manager gives Logan a letter from Nick Fury that says to meet him at Senator Walsh’s mansion.

Senator Walsh’s mansion, Logan and Beast meet Nick fury, who says that he will help them clear Logan’s name, Logan unleashes his claws and cuts Nick’s head off, revealing that it wasn’t nick, just a robot. Suddenly the room fills with armed SHIELD agents, lights come on and Brent Jackson enters.
