Right Underneth It,

Underground Subway, Mole man, his followers and his creatures have Wolverine, Spiderman, and Lieutenant Tara Curson surrounded. Wolverine leaps at Mole man, who defends himself by knocking Wolverine back with his staff. Mole man's followers grab at Spiderman and Tara, Spider uses his super strength to knock them back, while Tara shoots them with her pistol. A creature called a subterranean grabs Tara and she screams for help. Mole man jumps down and shocks his creature to let her go. Mole man explains that he has commanded his creatures to subdue, but not to hurt them. Tara tells Mole man that he is under arrest for the murders, but Mole man explains that he and his creatures haven’t killed any surface dwellers. Mole man tells them that there are a group of mutants that have come to live down in the tunnels and have a monstrous giant, but he tells them he isn’t going to show where they are. Wolverine tells him if he doesn’t show them, they are going to keep looking and bring others until the capture the killers.

Later, Mole man leads Wolverine, Spiderman and Tara to the area of the Underground that the killers are at, then he leaves. Spiderman's spider scenes goes crazy, just as two mutants grab Tara and Spiderman, a man comes out named Carver and tells them that they invaded their domain and now they must die. Tara pulls her gun and tells them they are under arrest, but a mutant knocks her out. Spiderman tries to attack, but he gets knocked out. A big hairy creature sneaks up behind Wolverine and crushes him into the ground. Carver tells Wolverine that the creatures name is Fugue and is responsible for the killing, but he doesn't know right from wrong. Wolverine says that’s no excuse to let him kill and he has to be held accountable. Carver says that they are Morlocks and don't have the rules and morals of the surface world. Wolverine challenges Carver to a duel for control of his tribe, according to Morlock law.

Later, Wolverine and Carver stand on a round pillar with a deep fiery chasm all around them, while Spiderman, Tara and Carver's followers watch. Carver jumps at Wolverine punches in the head. Wolverine slashes Carver across his chest, but it doesn’t cut him. Carver explains that his skin is impenetrable and that’s not it, suddenly claws poke from the back of his hands and from his elbows. Wolverine slashes at Carver, but misses, Carver picks up Wolverine to throw him in the chasm, but Wolverine slashes him in the eye and Carver drops Wolverine. Furgue leaps onto the pillar to attack Wolverine, but Wolverine slashes Furgue and he falls down into the chasm. Spiderman uses his web to catch Furgue, but Spiderman is having trouble holding him. The ground begins to shake and Wolverine and Carver fall into the chasm, but they manage to grab the side. Wolverine tells Carver to grab his hand so he could pull him up, but Carver slips and grabs Wolverine leg. Spiderman's web brakes and Furgue falls, but Carver grabs the end of the web and stops Furgue from falling, which puts all their weight on Wolverine, who is using his claws to pulls them up. The ground continues to shake and Carver loses his grip and he and Furgue fall down into the chasm. Wolverine pulls himself up and finds Mole man, who is eager to help them escape. Wolverine ask if it was Mole man that caused the earthquake, like he has down in the past. Mole man tells him he doesn’t know what he is talking about and they all escape.
