In Madripoor, Two twin brothers walk into the Princess Bar. Flashing around a diamond. They start to fight over it. O'Donnell stops them and sells them a room for the night. Gar and Larry, the twins fight over the diamond through the night. O'Donnell checks on the brothers, but they killed each other over the diamond.

In San Francisco, Patch, Archie, Jessica Drew and Burt Corrigan are still trying to get to the airport. The cops on there tail. Patch jumps from there car to the police car, stabs the polices cars engine and jumps back into there car. The police car stalls. Burt tells the history of the Diamonds. In Ancient Times in a foul place called Gehenna, Ba'al was worshiped through blood and fire, so god sent a man known as the hand of god, armed with a unbreakable sword to kill Ba'al. The hand of god fight and killed Ba'al. But his evil spirit went into the gem that his followers had prepared for him, so the hand of god crushed it, and hurled the pieces into the winds so no one could reassemble it. but, In the last two years the pieces have been getting stolen all over the world. somebody is trying to put them together. They arrive at the airport. Patch senses that the presence of death. Patch tells everybody to get back. but, its to late, Vampire-men come out of hiding and attack. Patch battles Ba'al, while the others fight his followers. Patch gets some got shots in but, Ba'al electrocutes him. Ba'al's followers knock Bert out and take the stone he had. The Ba'al and his followers managed to escape on a plane. Patch, Archie, Bert and Jessica chase Ba'al in Archie’s plane.
