Hong Kong ten years ago, McLeish tells Logan that he’s killed hundreds of people, but he could have killed thousand, but he’s a classy guy. McLeish tells Logan that he started killing when he was thirteen.

New York State, Logan races down the highway, not realizing that he is being watched. I group of armed mercenaries hired by McLeish waits up ahead for Logan to come. They see Logan and open fire, Logan stands up on his Harley and leaps into the group of mercenaries, killing them all.

Hong Kong ten years ago, Wolverine sits in an airport terminal with Ai-chia. Ai-chia tells Logan that he knew her father’s killer, Logan tells her that he drank with him, she ask why he drank with him, Logan responds that they had similar back grounds. Ai-chia says that they are both killers and both killed her father. Logan tells her that McLeish killed her father and that he liked her father, but McLeish used him to help kill her father and that’s why he killed McLeish. Ai-chia tells Logan that she can’t stand the thought of Logan touching her again, but she doesn’t want to leave him. Logan tries to caress her cheek, but she turns away. She tells Logan that the word Gweilo, meaning white ghost, suits him.

New York State, Logan stands over the dead mercenaries, who had shot him, holding his gut he limps over to his Harley and sees that it is destroyed. Logan then notices that the mercenaries had adamantium bullets that they didn’t use. Logan realizes that McLeish didn’t want him dead. Logan heads into the forest.

In the forest, Logan smells metal and plastic and unleashes his claws. Then Logan hears McLeish’s voice and finds that the metal he smelt was a tape recorder taped to a tree. Logan walks to the recorder and sets of a trap, which cause a body to fall from the tree. Logan takes a closer look and realizes that it was Ai-chia. Logan in anger, tears the recorder off the tree and yells and howls into the night. Logan yells to McLeish that if he wants the animal loose that is what he is going to get and charges down the path.
