Lower Eastside Manhattan, Wolverine tracks Ogun's spirit down the street where he finds Clive and Kristen. Wolverine ask if they are all right, they reply that they are and tell Wolverinet that a friend of theirs just pushed them. Wolverine ask if it was their friend Helen, they are surprised that Wolverine knew her name, they didn't know that Wolverine is their friend Logan. Wolverine follows the trail to an alley, where he finds Daimon Hellstorm that used to be apart of the Defenders. Wolverine ask what he was doing there, He warns Wolverine to safeguard the box at all cost and that the one he seeks will threatens everyone that Logan knows, then flies away. Suddenly, Lady Deathstrike jumps down onto Wolverine, grabbing Wolverine by his neck she picks him up, Wolverine slashes at her guts, causing damage to her circuits. Lady Deathstrike throws Wolverine to the floor. Lady Deathstrike explains that she had Donald Pierce reprogram her with a self-repair and reconfiguration program. Lady Deathstrike leaps and pushes them both of the roof of a building and fall to the alley below. Lady Deathstrike tells Wolverine that the box is hers and slashes at Wolverine, Wolverine dodges the attack and slashes half of her face off, then picks her up by her neck and pins her against a wall and explains that Zoe Culloden gave him the box for safe keeping and until he talks to her he isn't giving anyone the box. Lady Deathstrike decides to call a truce until Wolverine can talk to Zoe Culloden.

Several blocks away, possessed Helen returns to her apartment, Ogun spirit like the strength of Helen and the fact that her memories are tormented and suppressed, then Ogun finds Helen's secret, an arsenal of weapons.

Back in Logan's apartment, Jean and Storm are still safeguarding the box, when the lights of half the lower east side of the city go out. Storm notices cube was glowing from within, Jean tells her to open it and realize that whoever possesses it would have access to untold resources. Suddenly Helen possessed of Ogun, dressed in army gear and armed with a machine gun opens fire on Jean and Storm. Jean shields them in a mental force field, Storm pushes Helen over with a blast of wind. Jean then enters Helen's mind to fight Ogun's spirit.

In Helen's mind, Ogunas the knight threaten Jean and attacks with his energy sword, Jean grabs the sword and pulls it from his hands then slashes the Knight in the face, the knight falls to the ground, then Jean cuts the chains that were holding Helen.

Logan's apartment, Ogun's spirit flies out of Helen, Wolverine and lady Deathstrike show up. Wolverine runs to Helen to see if she is ok, Helen realizes that Wolverine is really Logan. Logan tells her that he has a secret past, Helen tells Wolverine that she has a past too.

During the Gulf War, Helen was a Army Black Hawk pilot who was shot down, captured, beaten and tortured. Helen was saved and received medals and medically discharged, Psychologically unstable. Helen started a new life, but always kept a arsenal at her place for fear that she might become a victim again.

Logan's apartment, Wolverine hugs Helen, suddenly Ogun's spirit enters the body of Lady Deathstrike, manipulating her face into a form that Wolverine would recognize. Wolverine recognizes the face. Ogun laughs within the body of Lady Deathstrike and he jumps out the apartment window and escapes. Jean, Storm and Helen ask who it was. Wolverine tells them that it is his former master, Ogun.
